Here are some quick Definitions for the technology deployed in the Hyperdunk:

Nike LunarLite

Nike’s new(2008) LunarLite foam is lighter than standard Phylon by at least 30% and it provides springy cushioning for your foot. Lunarlite is normally encased in a Phylite/Phylon midsole delivering cushioning that’s soft and not too mushy like double stack zoom-air. It distibutes impact force more evenly and helps reduce pressure points common in basketball shoes.

Nike’s Flywire Technology

Flywire(2008) creates a new lightweight support mechanizm for your foot. Thin fibers of Nylon are strategically placed on the upper of the shoe to hold the foot in place, providing lateral and lockdown support around your foot. Flywire allows for significant reduction in weight – replacing commonly used heavier upper materials like full grain leather.

Flyfit

Nike’s Flyfit employs Flywire technology for creating a comfortable supportive upper that is much lighter than typical upper construction materials.
